How Bonded works.

No bonding curve, no migration. A coin and its PumpSwap pool are created together.

What it is

Bonded is a Solana launchpad where coins skip the bonding curve entirely. When you launch, Bonded creates your token and opens a PumpSwap pool for it in the same flow. The first trade anyone makes is a normal swap on PumpSwap.

There's no custom Bonded contract holding funds. Everything runs through the SPL Token program, Metaplex metadata and PumpSwap itself, signed by your wallet.

Launching

  1. Connect a Solana wallet and open Launch.
  2. Add an image, name, ticker and description.
  3. Choose how much SOL to seed into the pool.
  4. Sign the launch. Your wallet asks you to approve the transactions in turn.

Behind the scenes: your image and details go to IPFS, then the token is created with a fixed 1,000,000,000 supply, its mint authority is revoked, a PumpSwap pool is opened with the full supply and your SOL, and the LP tokens are burned.

Opening price

With no curve, the pool's contents set the price. The whole supply goes into the pool, so the opening market cap equals the SOL you seed.

supply S = 1,000,000,000 · seed L SOL
opening price = L ÷ S SOL per token
opening market cap = L SOL

Seed 20 SOL and your coin opens at a 20 SOL market cap. To open around where pump.fun coins graduate, you'd seed a few hundred SOL. From there the price moves with every trade, like any PumpSwap pool.

Because the LP is burned, the SOL you seed stays in the pool for good. You don't get it back, apart from by trading the coin like anyone else.

Liquidity & LP

PumpSwap gives the pool creator LP tokens. With Burn LP on, Bonded burns all of them right after the pool opens, so the liquidity can never be withdrawn. If you turn it off, you keep the LP tokens and can withdraw the liquidity yourself, and the coin shows as LP not burned on Bonded.

Fees

  • Bonded fee: none.
  • Network: normal Solana fees plus rent for the new accounts, roughly 0.03–0.05 SOL.
  • Trading: PumpSwap's own swap fees apply to every trade. Your wallet is set as the coin's creator, so you receive PumpSwap's creator share.

Token

  • Fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 with 6 decimals.
  • Mint authority revoked at creation, so no more can ever be minted.
  • No freeze authority.
  • Metadata set at launch.
  • No team allocation. Every token starts in the pool.

Listings

Every launch includes a marker that lets Bonded find it on-chain. The Pools page reads those launches straight from Solana, then reads each pool's reserves to show market cap and liquidity. Nothing on the board is entered by hand.
